Watering
Two x 15-20 minute watering sessions per week on your allotted days is recommended. Always phone Water Corp on 13 10 39 to check your watering allowance.

Fertiliser
"Carabooda Turf" will retain a premium finish if fertilised regularly. Frequent light applications every six weeks will keep your new lawn lush green and healthy. We recommend you use premium lawn fertiliser.

Mowing
During the warmer months your lawn should be ready for its first mow after
approx. 10-14 days. Wintergreen, Windsor Green and Kikuyu should be mowed
10-12mm using a Reel/Cylinder Mower. St Augustine Soft Buffalo should be mowed using a Rotary /Slasher Mower set at 25-30mm. During the cooler months mowing will be much less frequent.

Weeds
A well maintained healthy lawn will generally resist weed infestation. If weeds become a problem contact our friendly staff who will advise on the appropriate treatment for your lawn. Check out our newsletter.

Disease
Carabooda turf is delivered healthy and disease free. By promoting organic matter in your soil you will create a healthier plant which will be more resilient to disease. Insects
A strong healthy plant is the best deterrent against insect infestation. Despite this, black beetle fly in at various times throughout the year, so we recommend applying an application of black beetle killer in September and January as a preventative method.
